Pam visited the fishing vans after the few boats came in. She bought some fish and a spider crab (araignée) for €1.50 - just about the only thing here which is cheaper than at home. The fisherman also gave her another smaller one as well! So she then cooked both of them - at least these would fit in our pan. Set off for Iles de Glenan in a reasonable wind for a change (S3-4). Eventually ended up on a buoy in the bay to the E of Ile St Nicolas near Ile de Bananec. Various groups of sailing school boats all over the place. A few Hobie 16s landed in our bay.
Very small island - walking round takes about 15 minutes. Spent all evening eating the crabs + a bottle of Gros Plant which is said to be the correct wine for the occasion.
This is a really quiet place once the vedettes have gone home. There are quite a few yachts here on the buoys. Not sure where to go next as many of the small island are said to be private.
